SEAT is offering Irish buyers zero per cent finance packages and discounts of up to €3,000 as it tries to kick-start post-lockdown car sales.
Zero per cent finance on all SEAT models
The zero per cent finance offer - which is set to become something of a rarity as the economic downturn squeezes credit lines - is available on all SEAT models; Ibiza, Leon, Arona, Ateca and Tarraco.
That's for a PCP personal finance package, and on top of the zero per cent interest, SEAT is also offering a three-month payment break should you need it. Monthly repayments start at €179 per month for the Ibiza, €199 per month for the Arona, €269 for the Ateca and €339 per month for the Tarraco.
There's also an online discount voucher, which can be downloaded from the SEAT Ireland wesbite, which will get you a €1,000 discount on the Ibiza, Arona, Ateca and Tarraco and a €3,000 discount on the Leon (albeit that's the outgoing Leon, not the newest version - still a very decent car, mind).
Scrappage trade-in
If you've got an older car to trade-in, then there's also a scrappage offer which can get you as much as €5,000 off the price of a new SEAT, plus a PCP finance package with 5.9 per cent APR interest, and repayments starting from €209 per month. SEAT's also offering big discounts on its inclusive servicing plan.
For those looking for an urban transport solution, SEAT is also discounting its electric scooter, the eXS KickScooter (a fleet of which was donated to the Mater Hospital in Dublin to help staff get around during the pandemic). Its price has been cut to €549, reduced from €599, during the '202' offer period.
SEAT's also re-working how customers interact with dealers in this post-Covid world. There's a new 'live chat' service on the SEAT website, to allow customers to talk to dealer staff in real time. The online car configurator is still on the site too, and allows you to spec and option-up your SEAT as you please. There's an online service booking tool, to minimise queuing and crowding at service desks, as well as online tools for servicing plans and finance package applications.
Uprated hygiene standards
Needless to say, dealerships have been updated to new hygiene standards, and all cars will be carefully sanitised before being handed over for purchase or test drives.
Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland commented: "It has been a challenging few months for our business and our customers. We're happy to be able to provide our loyal customers with some of the strongest offers we've ever had as we prepare for the '202' sales period. We are delighted to offer zero per cent PCP finance across our core models alongside an optional 3-month payment break when buying a new '202' Seat as well as a discount of up to €3,000 available on our website. We have seen the way consumers interact with businesses change substantially over the last three months and so we have adapted how we do business to facilitate these changes and provide the best services while ensuring we are complying to the highest safety standards for our customers and team members. With this, we have introduced a variety of digital services that allow us to reduce face to face interaction between customers and Seat team members. An online finance application, live chat, and online booking services are just some examples of the new initiatives introduced by Seat dealerships nationwide."
All the offers are valid on orders made before 30th of June.
