Volkswagen saved the best for last at the huge Worthersee bash, unveiling a 370hp Golf GTI concept as the curtain comes down on the gathering in Austria.
Built by VW apprentices, the GTI Reifnitz takes its name from the town where the Worthersee gathering is held. To meet the approval of the show-goers, the Reifnitz has an uprated turbocharger and sports exhaust to release 370hp.
The apprentices have also been busy changing the exterior, adding an aggressive body kit with widened arches, larger spoilers and new alloy wheels. There's also a red, white and blue paint job to help it stand even further from the crowd.
Inside, the Reifnitz has just two front seats, the rears being replaced by massive stereo speakers. The whole interior is swathed in Alcantara and features racing seats and a roll cage.
