Peugeot becomes Dublin GAA official partner

Peugeot has come Dublin GAA’s official car partner supplying vans and passenger cars for use by officials and team members.

Peugeot Ireland has announced a new three-year partnership with Dublin GAA to provide vans and cars for use by both players and teams.

The partnership was launched with a small event at Parnell Park, the home of Dublin GAA, which was attended by a number of well-known Dublin GAA players such as the footballers Niall Scully and Nicole Owens as well as senior hurlers Aoife Whelan and Ronan Hayes. Also present was Seán Kearns, a former Dublin senior hurler and footballer with fourteen years of playing under his belt and who also happens to be Peugeot Ireland's Head of Aftersales.

The agreement across all four senior codes - hurling, football, camogie and ladies' football - will see the teams supplied with a range of efficient and electrified models including the pure-electric Peugeot e208 and e2008 as well as the 3008 and 508 plug-in hybrids.

A great match

Commenting on the announcement, Des Cannon, the managing director at Gowan Distributors Limited, Peugeot's importer in Ireland, said:

"We are absolutely thrilled to come on board as an official car partner to Dublin GAA. The Peugeot brand is a true success story, with over 210 years of heritage and history, which continues to rise to new heights in 2022. We look forward to supporting the inter-county teams across all four codes and engaging with clubs and their members across the county. We are confident that our award-winning line up is a great match for the players and supporters of Dublin GAA."

Dublin GAA's Commercial and Marketing Manager, Tomás Quinn said of the arrangement:
