Cupra Ireland has announced a new offer on its most popular models - the Born hatchback and the Formentor crossover.
Customers who order a Born before July 31 will pay zero per cent PCP finance, with monthly payments starting from €189 per month.
Similarly, those who order a Cupra Formentor before the end of July can expect similar savings, with monthly payments for the SUV starting from €279 per month.
The offer is limited to a select number of vehicles - those interested are encouraged to configure their model today on Cupra's website.
Cupra Born
Based on the same underpinnings as the Volkswagen ID.3, the Born uses the 'MEB' platform and is manufactured at the same factory in Zwickau, Germany.
The Born was first previewed at the 2019 Geneva motor show, with the SEAT el-Born concept offering a glimpse at the Born's design direction. The Born was greenlit for production in 2020 and officially launched in May of 2021.
The Born's range varies from 349km on base models to 548km on higher-spec editions.
Inside, the Born features a 12-inch touchscreen display with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with adaptive cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights all fitted as standard. Further up the range, customers can opt for bigger wheels, rear privacy glass and a driver's head-up display.
Irish prices start from €48,110 for the base model, up to €56,890 for the top-spec e-Boost five-seater.
Cupra Formentor
The Cupra Formentor uses Volkswagen Group's 'MQB Evo' platform, which also forms the underpinnings for the Mk4 SEAT Leon.
Unlike the all-electric Born, the Formentor is available with petrol and diesel power, as well as two different plug-in hybrids. The hybrid versions are fitted with a 12.8kWh battery with a range of 50km.
The Formentor is marketed as a 'coupe SUV', with a low roofline and sloping rear end, though the Formentor still comes with 450 litres of cargo space. It has a 12-inch infotainment screen, with other standard equipment, including adaptive cruise control, LED lights and high-beam assist.
The cheapest 1.5-litre TSI version comes with 150hp and an on-the-road price tag of €41,630. Plug-in hybrid power starts at €49,300 for a 204hp variant (there's a 245hp PHEV, too), and the range-topping Formentor is the VZ 2.0 TSI with 300hp, costing €75,820.
