Dacia has got in early with its 241-registration offers, coming off the back of celebrating 1,000 sales of its Jogger seven-seat estate-MPV. The company is also proud to say that you can drive away in a Jogger from just €7.77 a day with its latest finance deals.
Dacia's legendary affordability to the fore
With the Dacia Sales Event running from November 9-11 this year, the 241 finance offers apply to all models of the Dacia range - as long as orders are taken and the cars are registered by January 31, 2024. With 6.9 per cent APR and zero deposit available on PCP, it means you can drive a Sandero from €5 a day, a Sandero Stepway from €5.50 per day and a Duster from €6.50 a day.
It's the Jogger which Dacia is keen to play up, though, and it has clearly been a hit with Irish buyers since it landed in 2022. It won the AA Ireland Car of the Year Award last year, while it also has the distinction of being Dacia's first-ever hybrid model - the 1.6-litre, 140hp petrol-electric version offering up to 5.0 litres/100km and CO2 emissions of just 112g/km. Dacia even goes so far as to say that you'll spend 80 per cent of your time driving the Jogger Hybrid 140 on electric power alone in the city, despite the fact it only has a 1.2kWh battery pack.
Further embellishments to the Jogger range through 2023 include the Extreme specification, which comes with exclusive Cedar Green paint and contrasting Copper Brown exterior details. Inside, MicroCloud upholstery is a durable fabric that should withstand the rough-and-tumble lifestyle a seven-seat family car will have to endure, while the Extended Grip function fitted to the Jogger Extreme adjusts the electronic stability control on loose surfaces to improve the car's traction.
Sweet dreams
And if you like your Jogger so much that you'd rather bed down in it instead of your house, then the Sleep Pack is right up your alley. The first accessory sold under Dacia's InNature range, the Sleep Pack can turn the interior of the Jogger into a sleeping area for two in just minutes.
Included in the bundle is a 220-litre storage box which can be accessed with the double bed either folded or unfolded, and all this pack requires is for the easily removed third row of seats to be taken out of the car.
Dacia Ireland sells the Jogger Hybrid 140 in two trim levels, Expression and Extreme SE. Standard equipment on all versions includes automatic air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera, automatic headlights and wipers, keyless entry, the eight-inch touchscreen Media Display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, and blind spot warning, among more.
