Cupra, which is well on its way to becoming an entirely electric brand, has decided to give us a little nudge and remind us that it still makes some petrol-powered models, including the hugely practical Ateca SUV.
Extra equipment
To help with that reminder, it's created the Ateca Impulse Limited Edition, a version with sportier styling and extra equipment.
150hp engine
As standard, it comes with the really impressive 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, developing 150hp and 250Nm of torque. It's a really good engine, this one - frugal but with decent punch and very refined.
To make the Ateca Impulse Limited Edition more enticing, Cupra has fitted it with some nice extras, including a panoramic glass sunroof, 19-inch machined alloy wheels, a full black leather interior, electric driver's seat adjustment, and a hands-free electric tailgate that opens automatically when you waggle your foot under the back bumper.
Zero per cent finance
It's a practical thing, too, with a large back seat and a massive 485-litre boot.
Prices for the Ateca Impulse Limited Edition start from €54,051 and Cupra currently has a zero per cent PCP finance offer in place, which would put one on your driveway for €409 per month.
There are some other special Cupra offers knocking around coming up to the 241-plate registration period, too. The all-electric Born can be had on a zero per cent PCP finance deal, with repayments starting from €259 per month. Equally, the sporty Formentor crossover gets the same zero per cent finance package, with repayments starting from €269 per month, and so too does the Leon hatchback, which has monthly repayments starting from €249 per month.
