Blackwater Motors Group has kicked off its third annual food drive across its Cork city and county dealerships. The initiative aims to support Cork Penny Dinners, the city's oldest charity.
Drop-off points across Cork
From Friday, December 1 to Wednesday, December 20, the Blackwater Motors Group drop-off points at its dealerships will be available. Staff, customers and the general public are encouraged to contribute non-perishable items that will be redistributed to Cork Penny Dinners during Christmas week.
Assisting Cork Penny Dinners
Audi Cork Brand Ambassador Peter O'Mahony joined the motor group to promote the cause, and David McSweeney, Group Fleet Manager for Blackwater Motors & Audi Cork, expressed gratitude for the support, emphasising the crucial role these donations play in assisting Cork Penny Dinners. McSweeney, a long-term volunteer with the charity, encouraged people to contribute: "As a long-term volunteer with Cork Penny Dinners, I understand the vital role the donations make to the charity and would encourage people to support where they can. I would like to thank the Blackwater Motors Group for their valued support."

The Blackwater Motors Group Food Drive has become an annual tradition, reinforcing the company's commitment to community welfare. You can drop off donations in Audi Cork on Bandon Road, Blackwater Motors Volkswagen Cork in Fermoy and Skibbereen, Blackwater Motors Van Centre in Wilton, Blackwater Motors SEAT in Fermoy and Carmaxx in Fermoy.
