Kia's new Rio goes on sale in Ireland at the end of October and prices will start at €15,295 for the 1.25-litre petrol model. The EX 1.25-litre costs €16,495 and the 1.4-litre diesel EX costs €17,895.
Standard safety equipment features 6 airbags (including side curtain airbags ) , ESC electronic stability control, HAC hill-start assist control, and ‘active’ front seat head restraints to protect against whiplash injury in a rear impact.
Other features include Bluetooth, remote audio controls and iPod compatibility. The EX model which is expected to be the volume seller comes with a host of features including 16” Alloy Wheels ,front fogs, all-round electric windows, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift and cooled glove box .
