SEAT will be kicking off its ‘Open Event’ from 10 to 18 of May with some tempting finance offers and some limited-edition versions of its model lineup.
Ibiza’s 40th anniversary
The first of those is the SEAT Ibiza 40th Anniversary which of course celebrates the big 4-0 for the little SEAT hatchback. The special edition model comes in sporty FR trim and offers a Graphene Grey exterior, 18-inch Cosmo Grey wheels and front bucket seats.
Those of us old enough to remember might recall the square-edged original Ibiza of 1984, with its ‘System Porsche’ engine design (the famed sports car maker worked on the engine’s cylinder head to make it more efficient). The Ibiza went on to become a mainstay of the SEAT range, as it is today in its fifth-generation. The Ibiza would also spin off the Cordoba saloon and coupe variant, and would also become a successful rally car, proving that it’s far more than just a simple family hatchback.
Limited edition Arona too
If that’s all a bit too much nostalgia for you, then there’s also the SEAT Arona FR Limited Edition, which takes the popular compact crossover and fits it out with Graphene Grey paint, 18-inch Cosmo Grey alloy wheels, and an upgraded interior which features grey air vent surrounds and matte aluminium trim.
