Dacia Ireland will hold a ‘National Sales Event’ from the 23rd to the 25th of May, at which it will present its special offers to the Irish car-buying public for the upcoming 242 number plate changeover in July.
No deposit down
The biggest news about those offers is that you can get zero per cent finance across the entire Dacia range.
Better yet, if you’re buying a new Sandero hatchback or Sandero Stepway quasi-crossover, you can have zero per cent finance and a zero deposit. Dacia reckons that its finance packages - provided by Mobilize Finance, neé Renault Bank - can save you as much as €2,000 across the lifetime of the loan compared to a high-street bank.
Savings compared to high-street banks
The larger Duster and the seven-seat Jogger are also available with zero per cent finance, and for those models, Dacia Ireland reckons that Mobilize can save you as much as €1,250 across the lifetime of the loan, compared to other credit providers.
The Jogger, incidentally, is now also available as a hybrid for the first time, complete with an automatic gearbox. It’s capable of returning up to 5.0 litres per 100km fuel economy, thanks to its combo of a 1.6-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor and a compact 1.2kWh battery pack. Dacia reckons that if you’re driving around town, you can spend as much as 80 per cent of your journey running on just the battery.
High-spec Jogger hybrid
The Jogger Hybrid 140 comes in two trim levels - Expression and Extreme - and standard specification includes automatic air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors and rear parking camera, automatic headlights and wipers, blind spot warning, keyless entry, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, and an eight-inch touchscreen which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
