Polestar - the electric and high-performance brand spun-off from Volvo - has some enticing offers for its sleek Polestar 2 electric fastback saloon for the 242 registration period starting in July.
Price reduced since the original launch
Already, Irish buyers can nab a Polestar 2 for a list price of €42,995 - down from the €49,500 price it launched with back in 2022. That’s for the standard-range single motor. If you want a long-range single motor, that’s going to be €43,495, but your range goes up from 478km to as much as 551km.
A zero per cent PCP offer is also available for the Polestar 2, with repayments starting from €381 per month.
That’s the offer for private buyers. If you’re a business buyer, then there’s a 4.9 per cent Hire Purchase offer in place for the Polestar 2.
Range expanding
Of course, the Polestar range is expanding this year, and the Polestar 3 luxury SUV is already available to order, priced from €93,200. The 3 will arrive in Ireland with a 5.4 per cent PCP offer for private buyers, and a 7.4 per cent Hire Purchase offer for business buyers. Repayments start from €956 per month.
The Polestar 3 comes in two versions - a long-range dual motor model with a 630km range, and a high-performance version with 517hp and a 560km range. A longer-range single-motor model will come in due course.
Polestar 4
The Polestar 3 arrives in Ireland this month, and then in August, we’ll get our first versions of the sleek new Polestar 4. The long-range single-motor model will cost € 68,600, and monthly repayments will start from €697 per month on a 5.1 per cent PCP finance package. There will also be the same 7.4 per cent Hire Purchase offer for business customers looking to get a Polestar 4.
The Polestar 4 has a range of 620km as standard, or 590km if you choose the dual-motor high-performance model.
