The Brussels Motor Show may not carry the cachet of Geneva or Paris, but that hasn't stopped Peugeot using the event to showcase its facelifted 107 city car. Outside you'll find a new face (allegedly taking its design direction from the stunning SR1 concept), which for the first time houses LED daytime running lights. A redesigned front bumper also boasts new fog lamps and a deeper grille panel to complete the look.
The changes aren't only skin deep though - the 107 is also more economical and efficient. At 99g/km of CO2 buyers benefit from Band A tax, while the combined consumption of 4.3 litres/100km (66mpg) means visits to the pumps will be less frequent as well.
Just a single grade is offered (Active), though buyers can choose between the five-speed manual gearbox or an automatic 2-Tronic transmission.
Inside, the cabin features some choice upgrades, while equipment levels have been boosted - though exact details have yet to be revealed by Peugeot. Available in Ireland from February in both three- and five-door forms, prices have yet to be announced. Buyers of the new 107 can avail of Peugeot's four-year warranty and roadside assistance if they order their car before the end of March.
