Ahead of the Drogheda Motor Show, which takes place in the SouthGate Centre from March 2 to 4, Drogheda & District Chamber hosted a launch night a The d hotel with national senior industry and financial partners in attendance.
Over 100 new vehicles will be on display at the motor show, giving new car buyers the opportunity to sample a wide range of cars all in one location. Speaking at the launch night Padraic Kierans President of the Drogheda Chamber, Richie Culhane Deputy Mayor of Drogheda and Alan Nolan Director General of The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) all spoke of the positive work carried out by the Drogheda Motor Dealers and congratulated them for their remarkable response in these difficult market conditions.
A new website, www.droghedamotorshow.ie, was launched on the evening and joins the Facebook page, facebook.com/DroghedaMotorShow, and Twitter account, @BrandNewDrive, in providing the most up to date information on the show.
Admission for the Drogheda Motor Show is free of charge and a range of family friendly activities will be provided, but it is hoped that visitors will support the three selected charities - The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, The Alzheimers Society of Ireland and The Malta Services Drogheda - when they attend.
