Land Rover reveals Victoria Beckham designed Evoque

Posh Spice called in for posh Range Rover Evoque.

As anybody who has seen Will.I.Am's (he of the Black Eyed Peas) IMAUTO will attest to, music stars and car design normally go together like chalk and cheese. Yet amazingly Land Rover has let former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, loose on an Evoque.

Considering the woman known as Posh Spice left her music career behind her years ago and instead got into fashion design the result is much better than Mr. I.Am's, so good is it that Land Rover will put the car into production with 200 examples to be sold.

The Range Rover Evoque Special Edition is hand-finished in matt black paint with contrasting gloss black roof, wheelarches, grille and 20-inch wheels. The wheels themselves feature rose gold detailing as too do the badges and grille.

A four-seat configuration features inside with the seats finished in semi-aniline Vintage Tan leather, with a 'baseball' stitch said to have been chosen by Beckham as a tongue-in-cheek reference to her sporting husband. Luxurious mohair floor mats feature as too does a bespoke four-piece luggage set that is finished in the same 'microsuede' as the roof lining.

Each one of the Evoques also comes with a hand stitched leather wallet, signed by the designer. All Beckham Evoques will be powered by a 240hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
