Ford Ireland has announced a range of new offers aimed at upgrading and standardising its Ford Service initiatives.
The big news is the introduction of the Econo Check, whereby a record of driver behaviour is taken over the course of a number of days via a discrete data logger with the data acquired being used to create a unique report. The report, which will be emailed to the driver, gives detailed information on potential fuel consumption savings. Ford claims that drivers can reduce expenditure by up to twenty five per cent if the report's advice is followed.
In addition to the Econo Check the Ford Service Promise means that customers who have their Ford cars serviced at participating Ford Dealers will not only get 12 months' free roadside assistance and puncture repair, free fitting of wiper blades or exterior light bulbs, a free car wash and windscreen detergent refill, but all at a price match guarantee that will assure lowest cost servicing.
"Our new Service initiative is a response to the changing market," commented Dave Pimlott, Ford Ireland Customer Service Director. "In the current climate, customers are looking for value for money but equally, when they hand over their hard-earned cash to have their car serviced or repaired, they want to know that they are getting the best service and most dependable parts available. That is the essence of our new initiative".
