What's the news?
Special edition Porsche 911 Club Coupé celebrates 60 years since the foundation of the first Porsche owners' club. Created by Porsche Exclusive, it gets special paint, wheels, leather trim and a power increase. A very limited number will be made and offered to club members.
Exterior
Brewster Green paint is used 'in tribute to the Porsche family colour'. The 20-inch sport techno wheels are painted to match the body. At the rear there is a 'duck-tail' spoiler and '911 Club Coupé' script is applied to the door bottom.
Interior
The cabin is trimmed in espresso brown natural leather with contrasting beige stitching. Porsche Exclusive chose the green body and brown interior in tribute to the long wheelbase 928 given to Ferry Porsche as a birthday present in 1984. The Club Coupé also gets a switch panel trim strip crafted for each customer and illuminated door entry guards carrying the model designation and logo.
Mechanicals
The engine is upgraded with the Carrera S Power kit. This takes the output of the 3.8-litre flat-six up to 430hp. Porsche quotes a 0-100km/h time of 4.0 seconds.
Anything else?
Just thirteen Club Coupés will be built - after the number of founding members of the first club. One of these will be retained by Porsche and the remaining twelve will be sold off in an official draw. To enter you need to be a member of one of the 640 official Porsche clubs around the world.
