Chrysler Ireland has announced pricing and specification details for the new 300C executive saloon. Entry level Limited versions will starts at €57,995, while the Executive is priced from €62,495. Whichever version of the car you choose it will be powered by the company's latest 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 239hp and 550Nm of torque. Mated to a five-speed automatic transmission as standard the powerplant can propel the 300C from 0-100km/h in 7.8 seconds, return 7.1 litre/100km (39.8mpg) and emit 185g/km - making for road tax of €677 per annum.
Equipment wise the 300C comes with a typically American high specification; the Limited model features full leather trim with power adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats; 18-inch alloy wheels; a power adjustable and heated steering wheel; dual-zone climate control; "Keyless Go" with driver memory functions; cruise control; a power-operated boot-lid; adaptive bi-xenon "Smartbeam" headlamps; Active Pedestrian Protection (pop-up bonnet); a reversing camera with Cross Path Detection and a total of nine airbags.
Executive trim adds a premium speaker system; two-tone Nappa leather trim with a leather-covered dashboard; a dual-pane, panoramic electric sunroof and 20-inch alloy wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Mitigation and Blind Spot Detection.
A particular highlight is Uconnect Touch, a touch-screen infotainment system that boasts a 30GB Hard Drive, Bluetooth connectivity with music streaming, a DAB receiver and integrated Garmin satellite navigation, which is also standard across the range.
The Chrysler 300C will be a special order only model until the end of 2012.
