What's the news?
Skoda's has released a limited edition version of its popular Octavia model. Dubbed 'Exclusive', the latest variant offers external and internal differences over its standard counterpart.
Exterior
The new version is available in both hatchback and estate guises. While no bumper or bodywork changes have been made for the Exclusive model Skoda has fitted 16-inch alloy wheels as standard.
Interior
Adding to the cruise control, climate control and Bluetooth that already adorn the standard Octavia, the Exclusive trim level has half leather upholstery and a satellite navigation system.
Mechanicals
No additional engines or safety equipment have been confirmed for the Exclusive model. The 105hp 1.2-litre TSI petrol unit is available; as are the 105hp 1.6-litre and 140hp 2.0-litre turbodiesel motors. Skoda's seven-speed DSG gearbox is available across the range.
Anything else?
Prices for the Skoda Octavia Exclusive start at €19,995 for the 1.2-litre TSI petrol version; with diesel models starting at €22,995.
Skoda has also made changes to its top-spec Octavia RS, giving it new 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors and a new interior that now features satnav. The upgraded equipment is worth €900 but is available at no extra cost.
Both new versions of the Octavia are on sale now.
