Kia previews compact coupé concept coming to Geneva

Along with its cee'd GT models, Kia will unveil a sporty two-door concept in Geneva

We now have confirmation that Kia will unveil its new "provocative and racy urban concept car" at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The as yet unnamed concept is thought to preview the company's first sports car, and first impressions are that it certainly looks good.

So far we've only been given red and black renderings like the one at the top of this page, and we can see that Kia's new signature nose has made its way onto the concept. The car's profile looks similar to an elongated version of the Civic Type-R; and it appears to be shown in three-door format.
If put into production we would expect to see the wheels toned down slightly and the thin door mirrors to be replaced with more conventional ones.

For now though, this is all we know. More details will probably be revealed closer to the launch date; but nevertheless Kia's urban concept should certainly turn a few heads when it's unveiled in Geneva.
