What's the news?
Citroen's restyled and updated C3 will make its first public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March. Arriving in Ireland latter this year the C3 is available with new 'PureTech' three-cylinder petrol engines, different upholstery choices and extra equipment.
Exterior
The C3 has a new 'face' with modernised front-end styling featuring new chevrons and LED running lamps in the bumpers. At the rear the light clusters have been restyled and reflectors are now set underneath the bumper.
Interior
The soft-touch dashboard gets new trim strips in matt black, warm brown or Moondust grey to coordinate with the new upholstery. Extra equipment available on the new C3 includes a reversing camera, RD4 MP3 audio system and 'Connecting Box' comprising Bluetooth, jack plug and USB socket.
Mechanicals
New, PureTech petrol engines are available in 1.0- and 1.2-litre versions with 68- and 82hp. Fuel consumption ranges from 68.2- to 65.7mpg and CO2 emissions between 99- and 104g/km. A 120hp petrol engine is also offered along with four diesel engines; some of which come with micro-hybrid e-HDi technology, boasting CO2 emissions as low as 87g/km.
Anything else?
The new Citroen C3 retains the Zenith windscreen that extends into the roof to allow more light into the cabin.
