Honda FCEV concept teased

Next generation fuel cell vehicle teased ahead of LA unveil.

What's the news?
Honda has released a teaser sketch of its FCEV Concept that will be unveiled at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. The concept is said to show a potential styling direction for the next generation of the Japanese company's fuel-cell electric vehicle, set to be launched in 2015.

"The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company's vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda Motor Co. Inc. "As we work toward the introduction of our next-generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, our long-term experience with fuel-cell technologies will help us pave a way towards a zero-emissions future."

The car that the FCEV Concept spawns will draw on information gleaned from the ten years of testing Honda has completed of the technology since introducing fuel cell electric vehicles to fleet customers and the 2005 introduction of the FCX Clarity that is currently being tested by more than two dozen drivers.

Anything else?
Further details on the Honda FCEV Concept will be revealed on November 20 during the Los Angeles Auto Show.
