Sacrebleu! 2014 Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is here

Citroen Grand C4 Picasso MPV arrives loaded with features.

What's the news?
An all-new version of the Grand C4 Picasso MPV has been launched by Citroen. Starting at €26,795 for the VTR e-HDi 90 model, prices reach €39,395 for the Exclusive Blue HDi 150 automatic.

Slip inside and the first thing you'll notice is, it's huge. Vast, with a large glass area, it's capable of carrying seven people in three rows of seats. There's dual display screens in the dashboard (depending on version). Integrated into the 12-inch screen is what Citroen calls '360-degree vision'. By offering a 'bird's eye' view of the entire vehicle, drivers should be able to manoeuvre the large MPV into tighter spaces. Citroen is also adding 'Park Assist'. So, in theory, reversing or parallel parking should be a doddle. Plunder the options list further and you can order massaging front seats and a motorised front passenger footrest. Citroen claims 98g/km with 3.8 litres/100km - or 74.3mpg.

There are nine different Grand C4 Picasso MPVs being launched, with prices starting at €26,795. The most popular model is likely to be the 115hp e-HDi diesel with CO2 emissions of just 105g/km priced at €29,295, excluding delivery.

Anything else?
There are already good incentives available for the Grand C4 Picasso. Citroen dealers are offering three years' free scheduled servicing as a promotional offer. The offer extends to three years or 50,000km - whichever comes first. Citroen is also offering 24-hour test drives, kicking off on 2nd January, 2014. Details are available at www.citroenoffers.ie/24 - or your Citroen dealer.
