Nissan Ireland announces Qashqai prices

New generation Nissan Qashqai crossover available from €24,495.

What's the news?
Nissan Ireland has announced pricing for the 2014 Qashqai crossover. The car that defines the segment will now be available from €24,495 for the entry level 85hp 1.2-litre petrol engine in XE specification.

Three equipment levels are available - XE, SV and SVE - with the most expensive petrol powered model coming in at €29,595. However it is likely to be the diesel engines that account for the majority of the sales in Ireland thanks to emissions as low as 99g/km equating to an annual tax bill of €180. Two variants are available: a 110hp 1.5-litre that ranges in price from €26,395 up to €31,495 and a 130hp 1.6-litre version that starts at €27,895, rising to €32,995 for a manual version - or €34,995 for a model fitted with a CVT automatic transmission.

Both manual and CVT variants of the 1.6-litre diesel cost €200 a year in road tax with their emissions ranging from 115- to 119g/km. A four-wheel drive version will also be offered that is equipped with the same 130hp engine that falls into Band B1 road tax of €270 a year. Prices range from €29,395 for an XE specification car up to €34,495 for the SVE.
