What's the news?
French carmaker Renault has come up with an idea to keep its fans and prospective customers engaged with the unveiling of the new Twingo. On February 13, Renault will let tweeps unveil the upcoming Twingo with the help of social networking site Twitter. With every tweet made using #UndressNewTwingo between 4pm and 6pm, the carmaker will unveil the car bit by bit. While Twitter will be used for showing the tweets made for the unveil, www.undressnewtwingo.com will host the live-telecast of the event.
Anything else?
Rumours suggest that the upcoming Twingo will adopt a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive platform, but Renault is yet to confirm or deny that. The car will make an appearance at the Geneva Motor Show (March 6 to 16, 2014) after the above mentioned strip-unveil.
