Peugeot kicks it to Brazil

New Peugeot social media campaign will travel the globe before this year's World Cup.

What's the news?
Peugeot has assembled a team that, over the next 100 days, will take part in a new campaign called Kick-It-To-Brazil. To coincide with this year's World Cup, which takes place in the South American country this summer, the team has set off from Paris with the aim of kicking a football all the way to the heart of the Amazon where Peugeot has a vast environmental project that has already planted over 2,000,000 new trees.

Using the power of social media, and its partner for the campaign, Facebook, Peugeot will donate towards the planting of more trees for every person who posts a picture of themselves with the ball as it travels around the world. The list of cities that the team will pass through includes a number of Europe's capital cities, Algiers and Cairo, as well as Moscow, Beijing, Bangkok, Sydney, Los Angeles, Mexico, Buenos Aires and eventually, Rio.

Anything else?
Each person that comes into contact with the ball along the way is invited to post photos and videos on the project's dedicated Facebook page - facebook.com/KickIt2Brazil, on Instagram as well as on the dedicated website at www.kick-it-to-brazil.com.
