What's the news?
Irish dealer, Brady's Volkswagen Arva, has been awarded the highest honour by Volkswagen in recognition for services to the brand in 2014. The Diamond Pin award was presented by Dr. Wolf-Stefan Spect, Head of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, at a special ceremony in Berlin. Representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, China, USA and South Africa were also presented with the award in a ceremony that is one of the highlights for dealers from around the globe.
After collecting the award, Padraig Brady, Managing Director, Brady's Arva said: "I was delighted to travel to Germany last week to receive the prestigious Diamond Pin Award on behalf of Brady's Arva, from Volkswagen. We have been a member of the Volkswagen network since 1961, when my father Phil embarked on this exciting and constantly evolving journey. As a result, the two most important components are a dedicated workforce and a loyal customer base and I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of both my staff and customers who have been incredible supportive of our business."
Volkswagen Group Ireland's Head of Operations, Paul Burke, added: "I would like to personally congratulate Padraig and the team at Brady's Arva for showing their continued commitment to providing outstanding service and dedication to the Volkswagen brand. This is an incredible honour for both Padraig's team and the Volkswagen brand in Ireland. The standard set this year demonstrates perfectly Volkswagen's commitment to excellence and the need to continually benchmark ourselves against our peers both in Ireland and in Europe."
Anything else?
It isn't the first time that Brady's Arva has picked up an award from Volkswagen; in 2010 it won a Gold Pin award.
