What's the news?
Rock station, Radio Nova, has taken delivery of a new fleet of Skoda Yeti cars to keep its Street Team mobile. The Radio Nova event team will drive the three new Yetis as they travel around the country attending various events and running promotions. Late last year the new commercial version of the Yeti, called the Sherpa, was announced.
"We are thrilled to add the Skoda Yetis to the Nova Street Team", said Mary O'Sullivan, General Manager of Radio Nova. "Our street team supports all outside broadcasts and activities with the station and the Yetis have already created a great impression. The JNLR figures are steadily on the increase for Nova and we hope this will continue over the coming years."
Speaking during the vehicle handover, Raymond Leddy, Head of Marketing & Product, Skoda Ireland, said, "We are delighted to become the official vehicle of the Nova Street Team. Nova are very like Skoda in many ways. They have made great strides over the last number of years gaining a large share of the market and they have huge ambition with a unique offering. The Yetis are looking very stylish and we look forward to seeing them on the roads of Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath where we have six Skoda dealerships."
Anything else?
Aside from the useful boot size and practical nature of the Skoda Yeti, Mary O'Sullivan also said, "combined, our three Yetis are so efficient they cost less to run than our single American Hummer we also have on our fleet! "
