Audi made a surprise reveal today (November 22) in the form of the newest quattro GmbH developed model, the RS 3 Sportback. It goes on sale in 2011.
So what can we expect? As well as having the quattro all-wheel drive system, the seven-speed S tronic, twin-clutch automatic transmission will be linked to a 2.5-litre TFSI engine, which delivers 350hp of power and 450Nm of torque.
That translates to an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h and a time of just 4.6 seconds from zero to 100km/h. To keep it on the greener side of the things, it'll only emit 212g/km of those nasty CO2 gases, squeezing into Band F for tax.
Irish prices have yet to be announced.
