BMW Ireland looks to fill 35 job vacancies

BMW Ireland in search of staff for its dealer network.

What's the news?

As the Irish motor sector continues to thrive in the current economic recovery there is a need to fill positions in dealerships across the country. BMW Group Ireland is making a concerted push to help fill 35 positions throughout its dealer network. The vacant positions cover a variety of different areas from sales and service to parts, workshop and bodyshop disciplines as well as in finance and administration.

Given how severely employment numbers in the Irish motor sector were impacted during the recent recession it is a positive sign to see dealerships now actively looking to recruit more people. BMW plans to hire over 8,000 new employees in 2015 in both development, production and retail areas across its numerous operations around the world.

Anything else?

The BMW brand has seen a healthy rise in registrations in the first quarter of 2015, with an increase of almost 17 per cent over the same period in 2014. The German car maker hopes to continue this upward trend with the addition of more new models to the now expansive range, such as the new 2 Series Gran Tourer and plug-in hybrid  X5.
