New MD for Citroen Ireland

Pedro Regalado takes the helm at Citroen Motors Ireland.

What's the news?

Citroën Motors Ireland has announced that Pedro Regalado has succeeded Frederic Soulier as Managing Director of the company.

The move comes as Soulier moves to China to take responsibility for Importers with the Group Asia markets, a vitally important market for the PSA Group. As part of the shake-up Louise Murphy has also been appointed as Commercial Director in charge of Sales and Marketing and Deputy Managing Director.

Mr Regalado comes to Ireland from Citroën Headquarters in Paris where he acted as European Regional Manager for the past 4 years. Originally from Spain he holds an Economics Degree and an Executive MBA from the ESADE Business School.

Commenting on his new role Pedro Regalado said: "I am delighted to join the Citroën and DS teams here in Dublin. It is a very exciting time for both the Irish motor industry and Citroën Motors Ireland, particularly with our sales increasing by 38% in the first quarter of 2015. I look forward to working with the Dealer Network in strengthening both the Citroën and DS brands in Ireland over the coming years."
