Celebrating Abarth's position as official sponsor and car supplier to the FIM MotoGP Championship the company has created the 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition.
Exterior
Cosmetic additions include; 17-inch matt black alloy wheels, painted brake callipers and tinted windows plus optional Abarth side stripes and mirror covers. The 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition is offered in a choice of seven exterior colours.
Interior
Inside there is a flat-bottom leather sports steering wheel, aluminium pedals and 'Yamaha Factory Racing' badge. Options include leather upholstery, Xenon headlamps and dual zone air conditioning.
Mechanicals
Abarth's 1.4-litre, turbocharged engine gets upgraded components for extra power. A BMC 'high performance' air filter and Record Monza exhaust with four tailpipes help generate 160PS. Eibach lowered springs and Koni shock absorbers are fitted to enhance the Abarth's road holding.
Anything else?
Yamaha's MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo are currently at the top of the championship; with a strong chance of finishing the season in the top two places. Abarth expects strong interest in its latest edition from new customers and existing fans.
