BMW has released details on the line-up of the all-new 6 Series Convertible, which is to be released before the Coupé model.
The car will be available from launch with two petrol engines in the 650i and the 640i. The BMW 6 Series Convertible will go on sale here in Ireland on March 26.
The BMW 650i features a 4.4-litre eight-cylinder engine putting out 407hp and 600Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h sprint takes five seconds.
The 640i features a six-cylinder 3.0-litre in-line engine putting out 320hp and 450Nm of torque with 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds. Emissions are rated at 185g/km from this model.
An eight-speed automatic transmission is fitted to both models and all will feature leather upholstery, xenon headlights, USB audio interface, Bluetooth phone preparation, satellite navigation, LED front lights and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.
