What's the news?
If there are only two left of a given car, then it's a genuine rarity for any of us to see one of them, but that's the chance we're now going to get at next month's AXA National Classic Car Show at the RDS in Dublin.
The Horch 351 was a luxury variant of the (hardly common as muck) Horch 350 and was only ever made in 1928 when only 21 were built. Just two survive, and this gorgeous two-tone one is coming to the RDS, complete with its Paul Daimler-designed eight-cylinder engine. Never heard of a Horch? Yes you have, sort of - along with Wanderer, DKW and Audi, Horch was part of the original Auto Union company which, after much to-ing and fro-ing, was eventually reconstituted in the sixties as Audi.
Bob Montgomery, Show Director, said: "We are very excited to have this car at the show. As far as I am aware there are only two of these left in the world today and this is in fact the sole right hand drive version making it truly unique. The first owner was Charles Caesar, a butcher of 40 Thomas Street in Dublin and very unusually for such a prestigious car, it has remained in Irish hands since it was first built."
The show takes place on the 5th and 6th of March 2016.
