Volkswagen cuts interest rates to zero

Lower rates for higher-spec Polo, Golf and Passat models.

What's the news?

Doubtless stung by finishing January in fourth place in the sales charts (even if sales were actually up a little overall) Volkswagen is now expanding its high-spec, lower-rates offer. Previously, opting for a better-equipped Highline model over a Trendline or Comfortline brought you the benefit of a lower rate of interest on Volkswagen's in-house PCP deals. Now though, that offer has taken the interest rate all the way down to 0 per cent, on the following models: Polo Comfortline, Comfortline+ and Cross Polo, Golf Highline, GTI, GTD, GTE and R (including hatchback, SV and estate) and Passat Highline (saloon and estate - including Alltrack) on cars ordered before the end of March.

Volkswagen is also lowering the APR across all grades of these models during the term of this offer. In the case of the Polo the Lounge, specification falls from 3.9 per cent to 1.9 per cent. In the case of the Golf and Passat models, the Trendline APR falls from 5.9 per cent to 3.9 per cent and the Comfortline specification falls from 3.9 per cent to 1.9 per cent. Golf Lounge models (hatchback, estate and SV) see their PCP APR fall from 3.9 per cent to 1.9 per cent.
