What's the news?
The all new Suzuki Baleno will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 1st March. Full details will be revealed at the show but a few teaser pieces of information have been revealed.
A new, lightweight platform has been developed and promises to offer plenty of passenger and luggage space for the car's size. Two powertrains are available; a 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo BOOSTERJET engine, and 1.2-litre SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki). The Smart Vehicle Hybrid system uses an integrated Starter Generator (ISG) connected to a lithium ion battery to assist the internal combustion engine.
