Gordini Renaults coming to Ireland?

With the arrival of the Wind Gordini, it's possible that the blue specials will make it to Irish shores.

The Renault Wind has become the fourth model from the French company to bear the Gordini name and general whiff of blue.

The Wind Gordini will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Like the other models with the name it doesn't get any mechanical upgrades but is rather a bells and whistles special edition.

Upgrades comprise 17-inch alloys with blue accents (blue accents are a theme here, as you can see), blue paintwork with white racing stripes, white door mirrors, a black roof and a special 'G' badge.

More blue inside, for the seat bolsters, steering wheel and gear lever sheath.

Renault Gordini models have not yet gone on sale in Ireland, but a Renault insider told CompleteCar.ie that importing the special models is under consideration. A decision will be made before the summer.
