Westmeath GAA boosted by Renault sponsorship renewal

Three-year deal agreed for all tiers of the county teams.

What's the news?

The Lake County is celebrating the renewal of Renault's ongoing sponsorship deal with its county hurling and football squads, which will see the diamond logo adorn the team's jerseys for a further three years. The deal includes the provision of vehicles, and covers minor to senior level. The timing is apt, as the Westmeath senior footballers have reached the Leinster Football Final for the second year running, and are due to play Dublin this Sunday in Croke Park.

Renault's sponsorship of the county has been running for the last three years, and O'Brien's Renault of Mullingar recently saw several GAA personalities in attendance including manager Tom Cribbin, Westmeath GAA chairman Sean Sheridan and players including Jamie Gonud and John Heslin to celebrate the sponsorship renewal and the arrival of the new Mégane.

Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager for Renault Ireland stated: "Renault Group is delighted to once again support Westmeath GAA through our two local established dealers, O'Brien's in Mullingar and Sean Whites in Athlone. Westmeath is an important county for Renault and Dacia, and Renault Group is delighted with the success of the sponsorship over the last three years - we're looking forward to further maximising this deal in the coming three. We wish Westmeath the best of luck in both hurling and football at all levels over the next few years and Iarmhí Abú to the senior football team in the upcoming Leinster final!"
