What's the news?
Telsa has officially opened its order books for customers in Ireland via a new online portal. The new website allows customers to build and design their own specification for both the Model S and Model X range as well as placing orders.
The website also lists full pricing details, which start at €81,086 for a Model S 60, which claims to offer a driving range of 408km. Pricing for the falcon-wing-doored Model X will start from €110,042. All prices listed on the Irish website include all relevant SEAI grants, VAT and VRT so that potential buyers can see a full breakdown of the costs.
Those keen to get their names down for a Tesla Model 3 can also place a €1,000 deposit, with two reservations per person being made available. Doing so couldn't be made any easier, the Tesla website only asks you to fill out your name and email details, enter your credit card number and submit the deposit payment.

These fast-charge points allow Tesla owners to recharge the car's battery in a significantly faster time that regular public or home charge points.
