Renault renews support of cancer charity

Renault helps Look Good Feel Better expand its service.

What's the news?

Renault Ireland has announced its continued support of the Look Good Feed Better Ireland charity. The organisation is a non-medical, brand-neutral, free service that offers support to women during their cancer treatment. It travels around hospitals in Ireland to provide free and practical advice to women as well as hosting workshops given by professional hair and beauty advisors.

It is the second year that Renault Ireland has provided support to the charity, by supplying a Renault Twingo. This has already enabled the service to expand from nine to twelve hospitals around Ireland.

A thrilled Margaret Heffernan and Emily Dunne, Joint Programme Managers for the charity, said: "Look Good Feel Better Ireland would like to thank Renault Ireland for their continuing support and the opportunity for us to promote our charity out and about with our wonderful Twingo. We are fully committed to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of women undergoing all cancer treatment. Many beneficiaries tell us that the workshops helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment have taken over their lives. Last year we held 91 workshops and reached over 800 patients in 12 hospitals. Our aim is to reach more women in more hospitals across Ireland in 2017."
