CAB Motor Company, a Ford dealer in Ballintemple, Cork, has earned the 'Franchised Sales Operation of the Year award at the annual Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) Awards. The team at CAB were able to display best practice in their category over a 12-month period, which was judged by an independent panel.
Conor Cavanagh, Dealer Principal of CAB Motor Company, said: "We are delighted to wind Franchised Sales Operation of the Year at the Irish Motor Industry Awards. It is especially meaningful in this landmark year, when we celebrate 100 years of Ford in Ireland, to be recognised as the standout dealership nationally and full credit must go to our dedicated staff who go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction."
Director General of SIMI, Alan Nolan, added: "The SIMI Irish Motor Industry Awards in partnership with Bank of Ireland Finance is a night of celebration for our Industry. Our members across the country work hard in contributing both locally to employment and to the economy overall. To win this accolade is extra special as it recognises their efforts and dedication to stand out from the competition. The Main Ford Dealer is the largest of its kind in the Munster region and currently employs 50 full-time staff. It carries the full range of Ford vehicles including Ford's commercial vehicle. The company was founded in 1925 to meet the growing needs of Cork motorists and the company is heavily involved with supporting the local community through sponsorship and charity programmes.
