What's the news?
The Fiat 500 celebrates its 60th birthday on July 4th and the Italian company has announced exclusive deals for Irish customers to mark the anniversary event.
Whilst the original 500 was fitted with a diminutive, rear-mounted two-cylinder engine and had tiny proportions, it became a style icon and over 3.8 million were sold from its inception up until 1975. The modern version is a little bigger to say the least...
For Fiat 500 orders placed from 1st May to 4th July and registered before July 16th, buyers can avail of either zero per cent APR on hire purchase or PCP finance, or choose three years' free servicing instead. To give an example, the €13,600 1.2-litre Pop model can be had for €151 per month, with a deposit of €4,080 and an optional final payment of €4,080.
Paul Hunt, managing director of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group Ireland, remarked: "The Fiat 500 is a popular option for customers thanks to the large amount of choice it offers. From its range of eye-catching colours to the never-ending amount of personalisation options, each 500 can be made unique to the buyer. Not only is it great to look at, but the 500 combines its sophisticated styling with safety, driveability, quality and affordability."
