What is it?
Mitsubishi's Global Small concept is the follow up to the popular Colt. When the production version arrives this time next year it will be cheap to buy, cheap to run and benefit from similar compact proportions.
Why's it here?
It may be small, but the Global Small concept can apparently seat five adults and will come with petrol engines that range from 1.0- to 1.2-litres in size. Regenerative braking and stop-start will help to reduce emissions to less than 100g/km.
Show stopper or floor filler?
The Global Small concept is unlikely to turn that many heads. We reckon it will go the same way as the Colt and become cheap transport for the masses with little in the way of charm. Hopefully Mitsubishi will prove us wrong.
