BMW 181 sales event

BMW is offering big discounts on its model range over the next few months.

What's the news?

As part of a major sales push for 2018, BMW has announced big deals on its new car range.

The 'Sterling' sales event means that customers can avail of a nine per cent discount on any new BMW model, in addition to the existing Lower Emissions Allowance of €2,000 announced by the company earlier this year, which allows owners of Euro 4-or-lower emission standard diesel cars to trade-in their vehicle for a new BMW i, BMW iPerformance or low-CO2 emission model.

For example, the 530e SE plug-in hybrid is now available with a discount of €5,711, a further €7,500 off in SEAI grants and VRT rebates, plus the €2,000 Lower Emissions Allowance if a suitable vehicle is taken as a trade-in, bringing the price down to €48,249.

With three new models on the way in the form of the 6 Series GT, the X2 and the X3, BMW is hoping to draw in as many punters as it can between now and the sales event's end date of March 31st 2018.

The X3 will be available with discounts ranging from €5,196 to €7,648, and the starting price from until the end of March is €52,534. The X3 range will include a new 2.0-litre petrol engine alongside the familiar diesel option, while the M40i is the performance derivative and marks the first time that an X3 has been fettled by the M Performance gurus.

All new models will be offered with BMW Select Finance, with rates starting at 4.9 per cent, as well as a guaranteed minimum future value under the terms of PCP finance. Every BMW retailer around the country is participating in the sales event, so visit your local dealer for more information.
