What's the news?
Having just announced the creation of what will be Ireland's biggest BMW dealership in Dublin, the Joe Duffy Group is turning its sights southward, and has confirmed that it's investing in its vehicle leasing operations in Cork.
The Group is going to open a new leasing services office in East Point Business Park in Cork, which is intended to serve its customers in Cork (obviously) but also in Clare, Kerry, Limerick, and Tipperary. The investment will bring Joe Duffy Group's employment levels in Munster to more than 400 people.
According to Joe Duffy Group, its leasing arm is Ireland's fastest-growing leasing business, with more than 500 clients, and more than 1,200 managed vehicles in companies ranging from small sole-traders to major corporations.
At the announcement in Cork, Joe Duffy Leasing Managing Director, Steve Rayner, said: "This represents a huge opportunity for Joe Duffy Leasing and has always been part of our growth plan. We understand the importance of having a local presence and being on the ground and more accessible to our clients. We have many SME clients across Munster and believe that this move will further strengthen our presence and add value to our existing and future customers. It is a very exciting time for Joe Duffy leasing, and this is a crucial part of our development journey."
Joe Duffy Group CEO, Gavin Hydes, said: "This is another essential step in our growth plans for the Joe Duffy Group. We look forward to providing Corporate and Business customers our competitive vehicle leasing offers in the Munster region. This investment in Cork will also see a number of exciting jobs created in the area, as we plan to continue with our strategy to grow and develop our business nationally."
