The Joe Duffy Group has confirmed that it will open an Audi service centre and used car sales operation in Drogheda. It fills the gap left by a previous Audi Authorised repairer which closed in Dundalk. The new facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2018 and will employ 16 people, increasing the total number of people employed by the Joe Duffy Group to 460.
"Our further investment in Audi is a very important part of the Group's investment and expansion plan," said Geoff Walsh, Audi Brand Director at Joe Duffy Group. He added: "This new facility will deliver an unparalleled Aftersales service to all our Louth customers. This appointment, which will be out third Audi business, further demonstrates our confidence in the Audi brand and the strength of our manufacturer relationship. This is another essential step in or growth plans for the Group and increases our national footprint by giving us a presence in Louth."
