Bristol Cars saved

Bristol Cars has been bought out by Frazer-Nash, with plans for advanced new technology.

Bristol Cars has a new owner that takes the British firm back to its roots of being involved with Frazer-Nash. New owner Kamkorp is part of the Frazer-Nash group, which was closely involved in setting up Bristol 65 years ago.

Frazer-Nash is now better known for its involvement with electric motors and range-extender engines. The firm's director of operations, William Chia, said: "Over the next few months we will start to reveal the details of our plans to combine Bristol Cars' tradition and iconic marque status with Frazer-Nash's pioneering technology to showcase our cutting edge electric and range-extended powertrains."

Chia has also assured existing Bristol owners that Kamkorp will continue to offer service and parts supply to keep their cars running.
