McLaren Special Operations (MSO) will unveil the McLaren GT by MSO at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Concept Car Lawn this weekend, in America.
Individuality is key
The GT by MSO has a new exterior colour, known as MSO Defined Flux Silver, contrasted with MSO Bespoke Satin Graphite on the side sills, front splitter, door mirrors, rear bumper and the lower diffuser. As well as the main paint scheme, there's more Bespoke Satin Graphite Iron on the brake callipers and there's an MSO Bright Pack, which features a chrome exterior upper window surround, polished titanium exhaust finishers and Gloss Black diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, MSO Bespoke Geoform stitching can be found on the seat backs, sun visor, door cards and armrest. This teams up with Flux White and Satin Graphite leather, with the MSO logo embossed into the head restraints and leather sills. MSO Bespoke silver-infused carbon fibre is draped across extended gearshift paddles and the steering wheel clasp, while there's an MSO Electrochromic Roof, bespoke floor mats and an MSO Painted Key Back in Flux Silver to match the bodywork.
The MSO show car demonstrates what owners can do with the new McLaren GT, which is powered by a 620hp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine driving through a seven-speed SSG transmission. It'll do 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0-200km/h in nine seconds flat and will top out at 326km/h.
Perfect to personalise
Ansar Ali, the MD of MSO, said: "The McLaren GT defies the rules of a conventional Grand Tourer - it maintains the McLaren DNA of a lightweight and engaging drive, while adding in the space, comfort and usability expected of a GT. We believe that the McLaren GT has class-leading elegance and sophistication, and is the perfect car to further personalise, whether it be through an MSO Defined or MSO Bespoke option, or alternatively, a unique, customer inspired design that MSO delivers a stunning interpretation of."
