Irish pricing for the Skoda Peaq confirmed from €54,996

Skoda Ireland has released details on the pricing of its new range-topper, the Peaq. This all-electric, seven-seat SUV will start from €54,996 and hit the Irish market in early 2027. Latest Gordon Murray supercar is the road-biased S1

Gordon Murray has revealed the S1 at The Quail, a more touring-focused take on the S1 LM. Its 4.2-litre naturally aspirated Cosworth V12 produces up to 690hp and revs to 12,100rpm, driving through a six-speed manual gearbox. Active aero and revised suspension feature, while production is limited to 64 cars. Yes, it looks a lot like the McLaren F1 and yes, it has a central driving position. *swoon*

Porsche creates one-off 'Flatnose' 911

Porsche has revealed a one-off creation made by its Sonderwunsch division in conjunction with Manthey Racing for a well-heeled customer. Based on his own 911 GT2 RS, the 'Flachbau RS' is a modern-day take on the famous Moby Dick racer of the 1970s, including a flattened nose with bespoke LED lights. This one is road legal, however, and the story of its development is worth a read.

Stunning new Aston Martin Velan revealed

The Aston Martin Velan has just been unveiled. It's a V12-engined supercar with a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre engine mounted up front, sending 850hp and 1,000Nm of torque to the unsuspecting back wheels. Monterey Week played host to the new coupe, which will only be sold to 150 buyers. Full story in the Car News section.
