Here are the first images of the latest one-off creation from the Ferrari Special Projects programme. An American customer worked with the Ferrari design studio, using the SF90 plug-in-hybrid supercar as its basis. That means a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 and powerful electric motor for 1,000hp in total, and yet the ability to drive up to 25km in silence. Not sure why you’d want to, mind you.

Neil’s other test car this week also has stickers, but they’re less naff than those on the Opel Mokka GSE, and the Jeep Avenger 4xe remains one of his favourite cars. It’s small, but eager, pugnacious, and actually pretty good fun. Also, it really can go off-road and do all the proper rugged Jeep stuff. The downside? It’s pricey, and very small in the back. (This is not the facelifted one)

Bentley has appointed T.Jon Mayer as Head of Exterior Design and Design Operations. Formerly the brand’s UX design chief, Mayer will lead a 45-strong team shaping future production and concept cars, including its electrified models. He previously spent 13 years at Volvo, working on cars including the EX30 and EX60. And yes, we too are hoping this means there'll be a Bentley wagon in its future...

Louis Vuitton and Singer have created two one-off Porsche 911s. The saffron-and-cobalt Classic coupe uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six, while the white, wood-trimmed Classic Turbo Cabriolet has a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre engine. Both are, gloriously, manual. No prices have been disclosed, but if you have to ask...
