It’s small, but eager, pugnacious, and actually pretty good fun. Also, it really can go off-road and do all the proper rugged Jeep stuff. The downside? It’s pricey, and very small in the back. Bentley has appointed T.Jon Mayer as Head of Exterior Design and Design Operations. Formerly the brand’s UX design chief, Mayer will lead a 45-strong team shaping future production and concept cars, including its electrified models. He previously spent 13 years at Volvo, working on cars including the EX30 and EX60. And yes, we too are hoping this means there'll be a Bentley wagon in its future...

Louis Vuitton and Singer have created two one-off Porsche 911s. The saffron-and-cobalt Classic coupe uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six, while the white, wood-trimmed Classic Turbo Cabriolet has a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre engine. Both are, gloriously, manual. No prices have been disclosed, but if you have to ask...

Xpeng has confirmed that it will unveil a European specification of its new G9L model at the upcoming Paris motor show in September. It will be positioned above the G6 SUV and will feature an electric powertrain. No word yet on whether it will be offered to Irish buyers.
