Using the track-only Bolide hypercar as a basis, the Bugatti Destrier is a one-off, roadworthy creation as part of the Bugatti Programme Solitaire. It's less than a metre tall, packs a 1,600hp quad-turbo W16 engine and makes its public debut at the 2026 Monterey Car Week in the US. It would probably be cheaper to fix the HSE than buy one. Not that you could even if you wanted to (in both cases).

Audi is proud that it brought its Nuvolari supercar to life in just 405 days and has created a video to celebrate and show the entire process.
