Can I not use scrappage if car won't start?

Hi.

We are seriously considering scrapping a Fiat Cinquecento that we have owned from new. The car's NCT is due in August, it's taxed etc. have been to a dealership (Hyundai) who have given it the thumbs up. However, today, the car has just stopped and won't start, may be electrics or a new battery. Would this mean the car can now not be scrapped?

Thanks

Neil

How long will a Toyota Previa MPV last?

What is a reasonable amount of time we should expect a Toyota Previa to last? Considering buying a 2004 model (2.0-litre engine) with 231,000 miles on the clock for €2,500. Is that a decent deal?

I just bought a Peugeot 3008...

Hi,

I just bought a Peugeot 3008 Active 1.6 HDi diesel with 35,000km on the clock. Paid €13,800 + trade in of 2005 Ford C-Max with 105,000km on the clock. Do you think I got good value? I've never had a Peugeot before; is there anything I should watch out for?

Is there a timing belt in it and if so when would this need changing?

Can I replace the climate control console with the nicer looking one that's in the Allure model?

Love your website!

Is the Kia cee'd estate a good buy?

I've found a 2012 Kia cee'd 1.6 diesel estate for sale for €10,000. It's an import and has about 90,000 miles on the clock. I had a Citroen Berlingo but need to switch to a car now. Do you thimk this would be a good buy? I'm mainly looking for something economical and reliable with plenty of room.

Thanks
